Argentine Bird Stamps |

|
Ian says: At my recent Chairman’s Evening, one of my presentations was the Pro Infancia Children’s Benefit stamps that were issued in Argentina between 1960 and 1974. The great majority of these stamps showed drawings of Argentine birds drawn by Horacio Álvarez Boero. I accompanied the stamps with photographs of the birds depicted, both on traditional album pages and in a Powerpoint presentation. The majority of these photographs were taken by Alec Earnshaw, to whom I am grateful for permission to display his photos. Chairman, Henley & District Philatelic Society. View Alec's photos here. |
